Kathy H: I fell in love with the magic of travel when I was 7 years old and my grandparents took me to Paris for 6 weeks. We sailed on the SS France and I learned that the journey can be just a good as arriving at the actual destination! I remember my grandparents sitting each evening in our room in Paris at the Pensione Toqueville and planning the next days activities...where to go, what Metro train to take, and what route to walk to get to our day's destination. That summer I learned not to be shy or embarrassed about asking for directions, or ordering food in a foreign language...all "skills" that are so important when traveling. I love revisiting familiar destinations (Paris anyone?!?) but crave visiting new and unfamiliar places as well. As I say, "I haven't been everywhere...but it's on my list!". Come join along as we travel to some old familiar places...but also visit a lot of new destinations along the way...searching out gluten free restaurants and also looking for the best macarons we can find!
