Our apartment

Yikes, I realize I never shared our Paris apartment with you!  It is a LOVELY one bedroom apartment!  It is really quite large and since it is on the corner of the building it has big windows on 2 sides so it is bright and light!
I just love those big windows, and the apartment is decorated so nicely...it feels very Parisian!

The Queensize bed was smaller than what we have at home, but it was super comfortable, so no complaints there!

We had breakfast and coffee/tea every morning, and wine and cheese every afternoon from our bright kitchen.  Also, one of those cabinets hides the washer/dryer which we used1
In true French style, the bathroom is split, toilet in one room, sink and shower/tub in another!

The street is pedestrian only for the block our building sits on, so there are always kids playing in the street...there is a metal gate at each end, so it is the perfect place to play soccer!

This view out our living room window shows the park across the street - lots of families during the day (and especially after school lets out), teenagers in the evening hanging out there.

The building with the French flag is an elementary school and we love seeing the parents and grandparents dropping off and picking up their kids!  The school and the park give this a feeling of a "neighborhood".  The apartment is lovely beyond words and feels super luxurious.  My only complaint is that we are in a predominantly business area (the Bourse is just a few blocks away!) so I am missing local small cheese stores, fruit stores, bakeries, etc.  The upside is the large Monoprix grocery store just a few blocks away, so it is easy enough get everything need...I just prefer the smaller stores!  We have great proximity to several Metro lines so it has been very convenient.
We have loved staying at 1 rue Lulli  in the 2nd arrondissement and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Paris!
